Viva Lab was responsible for the development and production of the EWWR (European Week for Waste Reduction) Awards for LIPOR, with this year’s theme focused on "Packaging."
This project involved reworking and updating previous design concepts, adapting them to the new theme while incorporating elements that emphasize the sustainability message associated with packaging. We created a fresh design concept, inspired by past editions but innovating to reflect the importance of packaging in waste reduction and promoting the circular economy.
The selection of the winners was made by LIPOR, using the same criteria defined by the European Trophies jury, including alignment with the EWWR themes, originality, innovative nature, adaptability and replicability to other local contexts, audience mobilization, and duration.
The final pieces were produced using upcycling techniques with discarded materials to highlight the significance of reuse and recycling. The resulting awards serve as a tangible representation of our commitment to sustainability and the appreciation of environmental best practices, celebrating initiatives that promote waste reduction and sustainable innovation.
This project reinforces Viva Lab's role as a creative and committed partner in building solutions that inspire and educate the community.
